LISS - Lizard^® Inspection and Sizing Software

Lizard^® LISS software provides a familiar and easy to understand interface within a Windows™ environment, with context sensitive help files built in. LISS handles tasks as varying as defect sizing through to corrosion mapping and defect imaging. One tool fits all. LISS even gives you standard Eddy Current so you can immediately use M8 with your existing projects while you explore the other features. There is no need for any further qualification if you have eddy current, Lizard^® EMA or AC Field Measurement certification in order to put this tool to use.

Fulll Windows functionallity allows scans to be copied directing into reports generted in other Windows application. Making Report writing easier and quicker. Also as LISS operates on a Model PC scans or reports can be uploaded to an office anywere in the world for quick and effective defect mangement, or structule integraty surveying.

NEST - NEWT Expert Software for Track

FGI track inspection systems can rapidly acquire data from kilometres of track with typically up to fifty thousand defects per kilometre. NEST provides an essential set of Windows™ based software to perform analytic tasks automatically. This facility for automated data processing brings other benefits, enabling better fidelity of measurement of defect clusters, and the ability to report in a format directly of use to rail engineers. NEST scans the compensated data analysing the location and magnitude of defects, producing a defect database, from which various graphical or tabular report forms can be selected. These range from a visualisation of an individual targeted defect to a summary of maximum defect depth per metre of track. Reports from NEST give a basis for the planning of remedial work and a tool for assessing either the effectiveness of practices such as lubrication and remedial grinding or the impact of traffic.
